The Deputy Mayor Fort Portal City Her Worship Marunga Stellah has cautioned the Youth against indiscipline.

She said this on Friday 28th October while presiding over a graduation ceremony of 120 Youths who have been undergoing Skills training in compound designing, Nursery beds, Waste disposal and Stove making by Natural Resources Defense Initiative (NRDI) with support from ENABEL the Belgian Development Agency.

Hon. Marunga told the graduating Youths to have discipline as they go out to the field so that they can be able to excel.

“No one can employ you at their place of work if you are ill- mannered, be well behaved,” she said.

Edith Nyangoma an Administrator at ENABEL Fort Portal Office asked the Youth to use the skills they have acquired to fight poverty.

“Do not sit on the skill you have acquired within the six months you have been on this training, rather use it to earn a better living,” she urged the youth.

Kusemererwa Emmanuel who was one of the graduates appreciated NRDI and ENABEL for the opportunity they rendered to the Youth.

He said many Youths of their age are stranded at home without any skill   and he promised to use the skill he has acquired  to improve his livelihood.
